From eye-catching Limited Editions to our very first Artist Contests, Displate creators kept surprising us with designs that made us stop, stare, and say, “Wow, did they really just do that?” Every poster, every design, every little spark of imagination helped make this year unforgettable.

Look, with over 40,000 creative stars spinning in our metal poster multiverse, picking just five is basically asking for a cosmic miracle. And let’s be real – here at Displate, we all have our favorites (sometimes a dozen… or two).
So, to keep the peace and avoid an all-out metal poster showdown, we set a few ground rules, narrowed things down with clear criteria, and chose winners in five categories:
- The artist behind the year’s best-selling design
- The top-selling artist overall
- The fastest-growing artist
- The most active artist, with the highest number of original uploads
- The artist most engaged in the Displate community

Best-Selling Original Design: Pathetic Duck by Tiberius Ciucinciu
Oh yes, the Pathetic Duck is still racking up impressively non-pathetic sales! Tiberius Ciucinciu has perfected the delicate balance of absurd, surreal, and brilliant, turning every creation into a tiny masterpiece of chaos and charm. His work surprises, delights, and keeps us coming back for more. And really – isn’t that exactly what creativity is all about?
Top-Selling Artist: Anato Finnstark
To find Displate’s top-selling artist, you first need to brave gothic landscapes, endure the gloomiest nights, and prove yourself against spine-chilling giants. And even then, it might not be enough – because Anato Finnstark never runs out of ideas for a new shadowy epic.
Fastest-Growing Artist: Lucidity
2025 was painted purple. It’s the signature shade of this year’s fastest-growing artist, whose creations have Displaters worldwide completely smitten. Calling them “anime-inspired” barely scratches the surface – Lucidity blends gothic vibes, vaporwave energy, and her own unique style into every piece.
Most Active Artist: Tobias Fonseca
From cute to spooky, Tobias Fonseca has range – and he’s not afraid to use it! This year’s most active artist has filled Displates with charming creatures, eerie skeletons, and even inspiring taglines. No matter the mood, his work proves there’s always a story waiting to jump off the metal.
Most engaged artist: Tobias Roetsch
Even if he’s based in another dimension (or so we like to imagine), Tobias Roetsch still claimed the title of 2025’s most engaged artist – staying connected with the Displate community, dropping epic new metal collaborations, and adding some truly otherworldly art to his shop. Warp speed creativity!
Special Mention: Louise Goalby
Louise had an extraordinary year at Displate! She released four Limited Editions – each more enchanting than the last – claimed podium spots in both our Halloween and Fantasy contests, and unveiled a gorgeous Exclusive Drop that left us howling in awe.
It’s impossible not to be impressed by everything she accomplished. With moves like that, she’s earned a well-deserved spot in the spotlight this year.
